Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
An Assistant Golf Course Superintendent can help us manage and maintain the extensive property.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
• Golf course maintenance and management.
• Irrigation and water management-Toro double row, site pro 3.1..
• Personnel management.
• Chemical and Fertilizer Application/Record Keeping.
• Clubhouse maintenance.
o snow removal.
o drinking water.
• Construction Projects.

Requirements:
Turf certificate, A.S or B.S. in turfgrass or related field or currently working toward a degree/certificate.
Applicants without the aforementioned, but with a proven track record (experience and references) will be considered.
Superintendent has the ability to teach and train the right person if needed.
Will consider all levels of experience in all related fields.
Must have or obtain a Pennsylvania Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Understands the time commitment it takes to properly manage a golf course.

Compensation:
$38,000 – $48,000 per year.
