Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This position works as a part of a team of 4 Assistant Superintendents that share in the responsibilities associated with the operations of the Greens and Grounds department. Our goal is provide a good working environment for the Assistant Superintendents.

Requirements:
2-4 year Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or related field.
3 years Golf Course Maintenance experience.
Will strongly consider recent graduate of an accredited turf program.
Candidates should be goal oriented and have the desire to become a golf course superintendent.
Have a positive attitude.
Have a strong work ethic.
Have the goal of becoming a golf course superintendent.
Find maintaining a golf course rewarding.
Be willing to commit the necessary time required to maintain the golf course to the standards of the membership.
Have chemical and fertilizer application experience.
Possess or ability to obtain PA state pesticide applicators license.
Be detail oriented.
Knowledge and understanding of operation of irrigation systems and components.
Understanding of water management and the ability to hand water.
Ability to supervise a knowledgeable and experienced crew.
Ability to plan and schedule.

Compensation:
$40,000 – $50,000 per year.
