Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Flourtown, Pennsylvania is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Individuals will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistants in developing their skill sets needed to provide championship conditions for membership play on a daily basis. You will also work closely with the assistants to fulfill all of your internship requirements. Daily tasks will include, course set up, pesticide applications, irrigation work and repairs, and water management. Individuals will also be tasked with leading small crews to accomplish small projects throughout all 3 golf courses.

Requirements:
Applicant must be currently enrolled in a two or four year Turfgrass Management program or related field.
Prior golf course or sports turf experience is preferred, but not required.
Strong work ethic, a friendly demeanor, and be willing to exceed member expectations in a team oriented setting, with goals of advancing in the industry.

Compensation:
$12 – $14 per hour.
Housing, uniforms, pro shop discount, and golf privileges.
You will also get the opportunity to volunteer at a tournament at another course for a chance to expand your network and work experience.
