Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Wilmington, Delaware is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
This internship will provide the student employee with real world experiences to ascertain a management position upon completion of their educational curriculum.
The student will have the opportunity to volunteer at PGA, LPGA and USGA events. In addition, the internship program includes field trips, attending Green Committee meetings and consultation visits with agronomists, plus networking opportunities within the region. The intern will work within in a team environment, love the game of golf, have goals of making a future impact in the realm of golf course management. Above all, a sense of humor while focusing on the educational opportunity presented day-in and day-out. Daily tasks will include fertilizer and pesticide applications; hole and tee location selections; irrigation repairs and hand watering. The student will be required to suggest a project to complete prior to the end of the internship.

Requirements:
Current student pursuing a two or four-year certificate/ degree in agronomy or related field.
Prefer a student that enjoys and plays golf.

Compensation:
$12.50 per hour.
