Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in South Kent, Connecticut is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Your day to day duties and responsibilities will often mirror those of an assistant superintendent. We will challenge, teach, and mentor you to succeed in a fast past, competitive work environment. After completion of internship, successful interns will be prepared for promotion within our organization, placement at a southern course for the winter months, or guided through the application process for management positions outside of our organization following completion of school.

Requirements:
Pursuing, enrolled in, or recent graduate.
Turf Management or related field.
Knowledge of golf is helpful.
Self-motivated, ambitious individuals who are passionate about succeeding in the golf course turf management profession.
Must have a natural desire to learn, lead, ask questions and display a keen sense of focus and awareness.
Must have a great work ethic and be reliable.
Career driven individuals will appreciate the seasonal demand/commitment of our industry.
Maintaining a high level of professionalism, consistency, while honing your skills/attention to detail will allow for quick success and advancement.

Compensation:
$12-13 per hour.
Depending on housing needs and experience.
