Full-time 1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf facility in Cromwell, Connecticut is looking for a Full-time 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position works closely with the Head Golf Professional to ensure the best possible golf experience for members and guests.

Responsibilities include:
• Work closely with the Outside Operations Staff and Club Administration to coordinate all golf-related activities.
• Supervision and daily management of Golf Shop and Golf Operations staff including interviewing, hiring, training and performance management.
• Assist PGA TOUR players, members and guests with their golfing needs, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs as smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible.
• Coordinate and administer golf events and outings.
• Administration of the quarterly golf shop inventories.

Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of golf operations practices and procedures as would be acquired through three to five years of similar professional golf experience in progressively responsible positions.
Previous supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
Registered PGA apprentice or current PGA Member in good standing.
Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude.
