Seasonal Entry Level Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Norwalk, Connecticut is looking for a Seasonal Entry Level Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Some of the daily responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Working with Golf Shop Manager and the Professional Staff in creating appealing, creative floor displays, maintaining proper, clean presentation of all merchandise and ensuring appropriate inventory levels.
• Appropriately using tournament software to successfully run golf events, create pairings, scorecards, scoreboards, etc.
• Candidate will have the opportunity to assist in instruction of the engaged junior program.
• Assists Professional Staff in establishing an attainable but leisurely pace of play for members and guests.
• Introduction to club repair work including regripping and proper application of shaft labels.
• Updating live scoring during match play tournaments.
• Playing golf with the membership.
• Expanding club fitting knowledge using the technology that is accessible, assists growing this area of our business.

Requirements:
Completed Level 1 of PGA Golf Management Curriculum or in the process of completing said level within acceptable progress timeline.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Prior knowledge of Event Man tournament software helpful but not required.
Candidate must possess positive, charismatic disposition.
Self motivated, eager to learn indivual that will grow under the tutelage of seasoned Professional Staff.
Prior working knowledge of private club operations a plus.

Compensation:
$12.00 per hour.
