Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf Club in Basalt, Colorado is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
Applicants can expect to work a significant number of hours to produce a world class golf course for our members and their guests. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Hand watering, fertilizer and chemical applications, various mowing tasks, course setup, management of small crews, various agronomic practices, snow removal, etc.

Requirements:
Applicants must posses a two or four year degree related to Turf Management.
2 years of golf course experience is preferred.
This individual must be self-motivated, dependable, and dedicated to working long hours as well as weekends and holidays.
Candidates must show a strong sense of urgency while having the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
The desire to learn and progress in the Turf industry is a must.
Must have a positive attitude and work as a team player within the staff.
Be able to attain a CO State pesticide applicators license within a year.

Compensation:
$42,000 – $44,000 per year.
