Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Country Club in New Rochelle, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
Assistant will be heavily involved in an intensive maintenance program. This is a year round position and candidates should have a strong desire to succeed within the industry. The assistant golf course superintendent reports directly to the golf course superintendent. Under the superintendent’s supervision, the assistant superintendent directs and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and does related work as required. The assistant superintendent instructs employees on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment; supervises pesticide applications and/or operates and calibrates pesticide application equipment; and supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.

Requirements:
2 or 4 Year in Turf grass Management or related field.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with knowledge of the day to day operations of a private country club.
Candidates should have a desire to become proficient with pesticide and fertilizer application and irrigation system maintenance and operation.
Must be dedicated to professionalism and the job at hand.
