Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Pearl River, New York is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to and collaborates daily with Director of Grounds to:
• Manage entire golf course maintenance operation.
• Follow annual budget for department.
• Record all maintenance on course.
• Supervise all planting, fertilizing, spraying and care of turf and ornamentals on golf course and club grounds.
• Maintain Toro Osmac irrigation watering systems.
• Supervise, train, evaluate and schedule all staff assigned to the department.
• Coordinate maintenance of all golf course equipment with mechanics.
• Report and comply with all pesticide regulations.

Requirements:
Two or four year degree or certificate in turfgrass management
Preferred five years as Assistant or two years as Golf Course Superintendent.
Must be able to obtain a NYS Commercial Pesticide License within 60 days of hire.
Familiar with Toro Osmac and SitePro irrigation watering systems.

Compensation:
$75,000 per year.
Depending on experience.
Health benefits after 90 days, paid local association dues, golf privileges, uniforms and paid vacation.
