Golf Course Greenskeeper
Private golf course in Menlo Park, California is looking for a Golf Course Greenskeeper.

Position Overview:
To provide members and their guests with an enjoyable golf experience with superior golf course conditions through maintenance and cultural practices.

All Greenskeepers:
• Assist golf course superintendent in whatever manner necessary to achieve the standards set forth in the Standards Operation Procedure document.
• Work with golf course personnel to complete daily work assignments.
• Communicate as necessary with golf course staff and members.
• Maintain a professional image with member and employees.
• Be familiar with all of the clubs policies and procedures.
• Promote safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
• Rake and edge bunkers.
• Prepare and lay sod.
• Rake and blow leaves.
• Hand-water fairways and rough.
• Some mowing.
• Clean equipment.

More experienced Greenskeepers may also have some or all of the following responsibilities:
• Walk mow greens, tees, collars and approaches.
• Use riding mowers to mow fairway and rough.
• Cut cups and set tees.
• Hand-water greens.
• Repair and maintain Driving Range.
• Controls gophers and moles.
• Help with projects, ie. bunker repair, drainage
• Mixing and spraying pesticides and fertilizers on greens, tees, and fairways.
• Operation of mowers, tractors, and turf vehicles.
• Irrigation repair.
• Project leader.

Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., as well as stand, sit or kneel for extended periods of time. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
Also, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and sometimes loud noises.
