Seasonal 1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Palm Desert, California is looking for a Seasonal 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the daily management of the Golf Operation. Maintain and assist with carrying out of policies and procedures pertaining to Golf Operations. Promote an exceptional “golfing experience” through outstanding customer service to our members and our outside guests in an enthusiastic and friendly manner. Adhere to the standards, goals and objectives set by the Head Golf Professional.

Essential Responsibilities include the following:
• Assists in all point of sales procedures, as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member & guest billing.
• Reconciles daily tee sheets, performs check-in, and receives payments from members and guests. Resolves discrepancies as it applies to duplicate charges and over or under payment.
• Promotes all club golf activities.
• Prepares for all golf outings including coordinating scorecards, cart signs, rules sheets, score sheets, format sheets, pairing sheets and hole assignments.
• Follows established opening and closing procedures.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Assists the Head Professional with club events and promotion and development of outside tournament groups.
• Works with the Head Professional with display, sales and inventory control of Merchandise.
• Promotes and provides quality Golf instruction to include private lessons, group lessons and clinics.
• Reconciles daily cash receipts and end of shift.
• Performs any other duties as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
• Projects a positive and professional image.

Compensation:
$14.00 – $15.00 per hour.
