Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Kettering, Ohio is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Will assist with locating housing near club. Interns will play an active role in the day to day operations. Our active club schedule will teach you key skills to be successful in the industry such as; efficiency, planning and implementation, fast thinking, team work, dedication, and much more. Duties will include but are not limited to; course setup, chemical and fertilizer applications, disease and pest identification, monitoring
course conditions, hand watering and operating the irrigation system, irrigation repair, leading small crews, drainage design and installation, and any other activities that may be required, as well as operations tasks such as staff management and budget analysis. The internship is not a “job” rather a building block for your career path.

Requirements:
Must currently be enrolled in a 2-4 year turfgrass program.
Previous golf course experience not required.
We are looking for those individuals who posses a mindset for learning and attention to detail, as well as ambition to excel as a professional in a competitive golf course industry.

Compensation:
$12.00 – $14.00 per hour.
Golfing privileges, uniforms, discounted meals & club apparel, the ability to assist & attend at a national golf tournament.
