Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the Golf Operation in a professional and efficient manner in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice and assistance to all members and their guests. The culture of the company as a welcoming club where members and guests are made to feel comfortable is.
• Assist in managing the Golf Shop, Bagroom and Practice Facility Operations.
• Provide golf instruction and clinics to players of all skill levels with an emphasis on developing an outstanding junior golf program that offers clinics weekly throughout the spring, summer and winter, PGA Junior Golf League and Junior member guest.
• Supervise, schedule and train golf personnel as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
• Assist in the purchasing, receiving, displaying, inventory control, promotion and sales/billing of merchandise and rounds of golf.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and also when off the premises.
• Promote all club activities and services.
• Stay up to date on latest club technology, fitting equipment and teaching methods/technologies.
• Assist with all weekly events and tournaments including Women, Seniors, Monday outings, Couples and Men’s events.
• Assist in planning and budgeting for the golf operations.
• Play golf with members of all skill levels including Men, Women, Seniors & Juniors and the local Pro-Ams.
• Represent the country club in the community and Sectional/National tournaments.
• Seek and attend continuing educational opportunities in a variety of industry topics.
• Actively pursue PGA membership and/or maintain an active classification in The PGA of America.
• Maintain extensive contact with the Head Professional and Club Management to create synergy throughout the golf operation.

Requirements:
PGA Member Preferred with 2-3 years experience as an Assistant Professional at a Private Club.
College degree preferred.
Teaching experience with an emphasis on junior golf.
Tournament Operation experience.
Golf Car Fleet experience.
Merchandising experience.
Management experience.
Strong background in customer service that fits with the culture of the club.
Golf Genius and Jonas POS experience preferred.

Compensation:
$28,000.00 – $34,000.00 per year.
