Lead Golf Instructor
Sports Bar in West Chester Township, Ohio is looking for a Lead Golf Instructor.

Position Overview:
A lead instructor will work independently to instruct the guests in golf lessons, player development series, and event lessons. In addition to providing another guest service to the guests, lead instructors will also assist the Director of Instruction and Golf Services Manager in maintaining leagues, tournaments and player development series. The lead instructor will work with general supervision and be responsible for scheduling and managing private/semi-private, group and event lessons and will be expected to deliver top quality lessons to guests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Help the guests understand the mechanics of a golf swing at the tee-line at all bays.
• Provide individual and semi-private lessons.
• Schedule and maintain lessons for guests throughout the year.
• Utilize swing analysis technology (e.g., phone/tablet applications, launch monitors) and best in class learning theories, and be able to integrate the use of teaching aids where appropriate in all programs.
• Work with all types of guests (juniors to avid golfers) to provide appropriate lessons.
• Walk the tee line on all levels during peak times (when not engaged in golf instruction).
• Grow the golf services platform at site, through marketing and community outreach.
• Assist in direction of leagues, tournaments and/or player development series.
• Assist in management and execution of summer camps.
• Work different departments at site in downtime as Director of Operations requests (e.g., guest services).
• Club repair and general maintenance of equipment.
• Help with events, such as game explanation, hosting and lessons.
• Assists with lesson marketing and community outreach.
• Contributes ideas for player development series.

Requirements:
This position requires an outstanding golf instructor who possesses good communication skills.
The position should have experience in golf instruction and player development programs for all customer backgrounds.
1 or more years experience teaching golf lessons.
PGA Membership or entry into the program within 6 months of start date.
Experience coaching with different levels of golfers.
Record of successful instruction.
Highly developed communication skills – Social and interpersonal skills required to interact with all the guests.
Familiarity with swing analysis technology.
Ability to develop positive and ongoing relationships with guests.
Business background (Bachelor’s degree or above), preferred.
Use of launch monitor technology (e.g., FlightScope, Trackman), highly preferred
Use of swing analysis applications (e.g., V1, Ubersense, Winning Identity), highly preferred.
