Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana is looking for a Full-time Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
Experience can be gained while working with our team and the emphasis will be placed on training you in the following areas: effectively running small crews, time management, safe and proper chemical applications, water management that coincides with championship playing conditions, understanding the mechanical portion of golf course management with time in the shop, learning Spanish to effectively communicate to staff, and in-house project management. Obviously we can not list all the experience you can learn while at Victoria National, but to ensure that if you are dedicated to the process that you will have all the tools necessary for an Assistant’s position.

Requirements:
Looking for the right individual who is near completion or has completed their education at an accredited facility.
Strong organizational and supervisory skills including the ability to schedule, train, motivate, reprimand, and direct employees in a safe and efficient manner
Strong interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively with employees, vendors and members.
