Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns will be exposed to maintenance tasks such as: daily course set-up, fertilizer and pesticide application/calibration, irrigation repair and troubleshooting, water management, cultivation practices, and other tasks associated with keeping championship playing conditions. This position will play a major role in preparing the golf course for the upcoming PGA event.

Requirements:
Enrolled in a 2 or 4 year turf program or related field.
Recent graduates or those looking to attend school next year may also apply.
Golf course maintenance experience preferred but not required.
Good communication skills and an eye for detail.
Self motivation and the ability to work long hours as needed.
The ultimate goal of becoming a golf course superintendent.

Compensation:
$11.50 per hour.
Offsite housing, uniforms, lunch, golfing privileges, and tournament volunteer experience.
