Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio is looking for a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position is seasonal, with a negotiable season length. He or she will have a passion for maximizing the York experience to all members & guests.

Responsibilities will include, among others:
• Managing & tracking play, daily revenue reporting.
• Assisting with coordination of tournament program to include planning, promoting, course setup, scoring and prize distribution.
• Instruction, individual and group.
• Co-managing the York PGA Junior League team.
• League administration.
• Overseeing & scheduling bag & cart room staff, including hiring & training.
• Simple club repair.
• Club fitting.
• Assisting with all aspects of the merchandising operation, including inventory control, receiving, pricing, display & sales.
• Assist with the club’s social media and internet presence.

Requirements:
Prior experience at a private club and college degree preferred but not required based on other qualifications.
Looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual to assist with all aspects of the golf operation.
Maintain PGA of America membership in good standing or be actively pursuing PGA Membership.
A strong customer service focus.
Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf including the USGA rules.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word; Point-of-sale software; USGA GHIN system and tournament software.

Compensation:
$600.00 – $625.00 per week.
