Full-time Golf Cart Attendant
Golf Course in Aventura, Florida is looking for a Full-time Golf Cart Attendant.

Position Overview:
The Golf Cart Attendant will provide prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service on our golf course in a luxury brand inspired hotel environment, where attention to detail is key.

Responsibilities:
• Greet each guest promptly in a sincerely warm, friendly manner using the guest’s name.
• Know the ingredients, preparation, and proper presentation of all menu items and specials and ensure that every product delivered to the guest adheres to the highest quality possible.
• Remain observant and respond to each guest at all times.
• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service.
• Know layout of hotel and golf course and location of all equipment and supplies.
• Check and stock cart with all food and beverage items.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.
• Implement standards/procedures of service for guest consistently.
• Make appropriate suggestion of food and beverages (employs suggestive selling and up selling technique).
• Take guests’ orders promptly according to the standards.
• Perform wine service according to procedures.
• Keys in (pre-checks) order on the Micros terminal promptly and accurately.
• Any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Requirements:
Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
Basic knowledge of Micros or other Point of Sale (POS) Systems.
Previous food and beverage experience in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
Of minimum age to serve alcohol according to state law.
Food handling certificate preferred.
Knowledge of food and wine preferred.
Golf knowledge preferred.
Excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to anticipate prevent, identify, and solve problems as necessary.
Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by guests.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to communicate in the English language.
Second language is a plus.
Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment machinery.
Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
