Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Siasconset, Massachusetts is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns will be exposed to all aspects of golf course management including daily set up in the morning, conducting morning meetings, irrigation repairs, fertilizer calibration and applications, chemical applications, managing the weekly topdressing programs, hand watering practices, landscaping at the clubhouse and the club’s four cottages for members and guests, tournament preparation, daily meetings with golf course managers and more. Interns are expected to be one of the first staff members to work every day and some of the last to leave. Every afternoon we have daily manager’s meetings where the interns attend and voice observations from the day and make recommendations for future improvements. This is a great opportunity to enhance communication and problem-solving skills. During these meetings, nightly irrigation will be scheduled, which will allow the intern to experience stringent water management practices.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled in Turfgrass Management, or related field.
Previous experience preferred, but will train the right individual.

Compensation:
$20 per hour.
Two meals are provided daily, including on days off.
Housing is provided.
Uniforms are provided.
Dormitory includes a basketball court, vending machines, free washing machines, billiards table, wi-fi and is 100 yards from our main offices.
