Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Bermuda Dunes, California is looking for a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director of Golf with managing all aspects of the golf program.
• Promote with the highest level of customer service among all members and guests.
• Follow directives and complete assignments with minimum supervision.
• Conduct yourself as a “Team Player” with the rest of your fellow co-workers.
• Foster and promote a positive attitude of self, co-workers, and club, both on and off property.
• Perform the golf shop opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in the tournament operations including planning, pre-tournament contracts, post-tournament billing, promotion, course set-up, preparation, scoring, and prize distribution.
• Assist with any handicap duties for both men and women.
• Teach and conduct golf lessons and clinics to Members.
• Play golf with Members and work on game.
• Special order merchandise for Members and guests.
• Supervise the Outside Services and ensure that all staff is presentable, well-groomed and established uniforms at all times.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf.

Requirements:
PGA Class A Member or Level 1 Associate or higher required.
2 years or more of private club experience preferred.
Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Working knowledge of USGA Rules of Golf.
Ability to play and teach all aspects of the game of golf.
Basic knowledge of computer programs including Word, Excel, Jonas, Outlook, and tee time software.
Strong communication, organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
Tournament Operations experience a must including familiarity with Golf Genius tournament software.

Compensation:
$13.00 – $15.00 per hour.
