Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Country Club in Rochester, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
We are looking to fill this position with a professional that is serious about their career and would be looking to move up within our organization.

Requirements:
2 or 4 year degree or certificate in turf management or related field.
Individuals must have 1-2 years of golf course maintenance experience.
Seeking an individual that has experience in hand watering, chemical and fertilizer applications and calibration.
This individual must be self-motivated, dependable, and dedicated to working long hours as well as weekends and holidays.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast pace atmosphere and show a strong sense of urgency, additionally a strong desire to learn is a plus.
Must have a positive attitude and work as a team player within the staff.
Be able to obtain a NY state pesticide license.

Compensation:
$38,000 per year.
Health insurance, 401 K, and golfing privileges, scheduled time off, and paid sick and personal days.
