Seasonal 1st Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Belmont, Massachusetts is looking for a Seasonal 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
He/she will assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with tournament operations. The candidate will be encouraged to play golf with members, participate in tournaments as schedule permits and practice at the facility.

The job requirements and expectations are:
• Anticipate the needs of members and guests of the facility.
• Assist in the day to day operations of the golf operations.
• Introduce and conduct clinics to women, men and juniors respectively.
• Teach private lessons to all demographics of the clubs approximately 100-150 hours of private instruction annually.
• Assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with Tournament Operations.
• Assist the Golf Shop Manager with the display and control of inventory.
• He/she will work 40-48 hours/week with some opening or closing shifts of golf shop per week.
• Maintain a professional and first class golfing experience for all members and guests.
• Play with members and participate in NEPGA and State competitions as schedule allows.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a PGA Member with previous experience at a high end private country club.
They should have strong interpersonal skills, tournament operations backgrounds, teaching skills primarily in clinic and junior settings.

Compensation:
$900.00 – $1,000.00 per week.
