Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Hartford, Vermont is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Our internships will be specifically tailored to the individuals needs based on past experience and what they desire to focus on while interning. Interns will be required to obtain a Vermont State Pesticide applicators license while here and will become an integral part of our plant protectant applications program. In addition, interns will have some crew scheduling and leadership opportunities along with daily course set up & scouting, hand watering, irrigation repairs, project work, etc. Interns leave with a well rounded exposure to all facets of Turfgrass management and successful interns are strongly considered for future employment opportunities that may arise along with being offered help in achieving their future career objectives.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a 2 or 4 year Turf, Landscape, Horticultural program, or an agronomy related field.
Some previous golf course related experience is desired but not mandatory.
We are willing to train and will gear the internship to the individual’s experience and needs.
Must take and pass the Vermont pesticide applicators license test while here.

Compensation:
$15.50 per hour.
($.50 increase upon obtaining Pesticide license).
