Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida is looking for a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Golf Professional will report directly to the Head Golf Professional and will assist with the management of daily golf operations including managing and tracking play, assisting with all merchandising functions, managing tournaments, teaching lessons, and providing other professional services to ensure an exception golf experience. As a member of our staff, you will join a culture rooted in teamwork, customer service, fun, and professionalism.

Duties:
• Promotion of the game of golf, and of the golf programs.
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice and assistance to all patrons.
• Control and manage play; ensure guest check-in and fee collection in coordination with the outside service staff.
• Provide golf instruction and clinics that is consistent with instructional methods, policies and procedures.
• Assist in purchasing, receipt, display, inventory control, promotion and sales of merchandise.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
• Proficient in Jonas, Golf Genius, GHIN software, and Microsoft Office.
• Be informed on, and promote all club activities and services.
• Manage the handicap program.
• Assist in managing the robust tournament program.
• Ability to work in various outside conditions.
• Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.

Requirements:
The Assistant Golf Professional must be a motivated and detail-oriented individual interested in being involved in many of the aspects of the daily golf operation.
The Assistant Golf Professional must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent customer service skills, and be passionate about the game of golf and the golf business.
Class “A” LPGA or PGA Professional, or working towards Class “A” status.
Preferably have had experience working in similar country club operations.
Have verifiable experience of performing at a high level in a strong service-oriented culture.
Be known for being “accountable”, “taking ownership”, and “leading by example” in all that she/he does in the golf operation; essentially someone who ‘walks the talk.’
Have a clear passion for the game, its history and tradition, where it can be clearly seen to positively benefit and enhance members’ enjoyment and respect for golf.
Positive and upbeat attitude.
Be an active contributor to the Golf Operations team relative to member experience enhancements and the overall member and guest enjoyment.
Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, coworkers, member, and others.
Quickly coming to know the members and staff.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Personal responsibility and accountability.
Good time and task management.

Compensation:
$12.00 per hour.
