Seasonal Golf Shop Attendant
Country Club in Wellington, Florida is looking for a Seasonal Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
The Counter Support Associate has many responsibilities in the golf department, but his/her primary responsibility is to provide daily and accurate information regarding golf operations. The Associate must also assist the Merchandise Manager, Assistant Merchandise Manager, and Professional Staff with daily shop operations, tournament operations, and/or as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Maintain shop cleanliness including dressing rooms.
• Greet members/guests on sales floor and provide assistance with apparel and club purchases.
• Daily collection of member and guest fees for golf
• Display merchandise, suggest selections that meet member’s needs and emphasize selling points of article such as quality and utility.
• Demonstrate use or knowledge of merchandise.
• Help with tournament information for members and assist in coordination of special events.
• Estimate quantity of merchandise required to fill member’s need.
• Gift wrap and bag merchandise for members.
• Conduct inventory of stock on a monthly or as needed basis.
• Requisitions merchandise from stockroom.
• Examines defective article returned by customer to determine if refund or replacement should be made.
• Restart and shutdown computers on a daily basis.
• Prepares daily sales recap for Accounting Department and Director of Golf.
• Answers telephone in a polite, professional and timely manner.
• Uses computer database to research availability of merchandise.
• Processes Special Orders.
• Processes Return to Vendor Requests.
• Books lessons and reserve tee times as needed.

Requirements:

Compensation:
$12.00 per hour.
