Golf Teaching Professional
Golf Learning Center in Normal, Illinois is looking for a Golf Teaching Professional.

Position Overview:
The Golf Professional will first and foremost be a teacher, helping students of all kinds progress and build a relationship with the game of golf. When available, assist in shop duties such as: sales, club fitting, and repair services. They will occasionally meet with the planning and sales managers to provide input on new equipment and other products. The Professional will also be in charge of keeping up their work area (teaching bays) and is expected to portray a professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities:
• Interact with players and guests in a professional manner, and maintain a pleasant attitude.
• Recruit new students.
• Mentor Assistant Professionals (as needed)
• Plan and conduct individual or group lessons.
• Plan and conduct clinics.
• Assist in sales, fittings, and repair during downtime.
• Adhere to and enforce the policies and procedures of the facility.

Requirements:
Must have and maintian a PGA membership in good standing.
Fundamental knowledge of both club fitting and club repair.
Service and customer focused attitude.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Remain current on teaching innovations.

Compensation:
$30,000.00 per year.
