1st Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Richmond, Virginia is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The First Assistant will manage the day to day operation of the golf shop to include but not limited to:
• Oversee the management and performance of all golf shop and applicable department operations and services; assure high standards and total customer satisfaction.
• Oversee and be involved with an innovative tournament schedule that services all member segments.
• Develop/oversee golf instruction, clinics, and player development programs.
• Play golf with members of all skill levels as time and duties permit.
• Oversee and enforce golf shop operations policies, procedures, controls, and fee structures to ensure the safekeeping of assets, inventory and resources.
• Maintain PGA of America membership in good standing in an active classification
• Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations and tournament operations.
• Self-motivated with desire to promote and market.
• Service and customer focused attitude.

Requirements:
A minimum of two years experience working at a golf facility.
PGA member preferred but other candidates will be considered.
Must have teaching experience with all skill levels.

Compensation:
$32,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year.
